20. And he said, That which proceedeth out of the man, that defileth the man. 21. For from within, out of the heart of men, evil thoughts proceed, fornications, thefts, murders, adulteries, 22. covetings, wickednesses, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, railing, pride, foolishness: 23. all these evil things proceed from within, and defile the man. (Mark 7:20-23)

Let us remember to live pure and holy life in our Lord, without sin.

Let us also remember that even though we sin, Christ died for our sins. Our sins have been died for and "God is dealing graciously with all our offenses." We offend. He deals graciously.

Let us remember what Christ has done and do likewise---

4 Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ 37 Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? 38 And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? 39 And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ 40 And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.

By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."

The above is Christ's judgment of Nations and how those Nations treated Christ's brethren during their tribulation period of 3 1/2 years which is yet future. It is not something Christ is telling all mankind to do to be saved or to be His disciples. (See Matt.25:31-46).

Let us remember to live pure and holy life in our Lord, without sin.
The cause of our own defilement is when we look upon others in any other way than how God see's them. God does not need a reason to love us or any of our ifs and buts tagged onto his lovely nature, which always demonstrates itself in love and beauty. The trouble is we are always focused upon looking at the speck of dust or the plank in another to see God instead.

To suffer at the hands of another is to walk the plank.
