Cults try and isolate the person from non believing friends and family so they can control the persons reality. Did you notice a change in her personality? That is something I remember my dad saying to my mom, that she changed.
Yes, her personality changed. She would never, ever have said such a thing to me about not caring before joining the JWs. She very much keeps her distance now, emotionally. (Geographically, we aren't close, so our interaction is purely online.) And, frankly, she is very haughty in the way she talks down about anyone who thinks differently than the JW's. I don't think she even realizes how she comes across, though.

She's been in for about 15-20 years now and she's very involved. She's changed so much, and is so immersed; I don't think there's much chance of her getting out.

Statistically 33% of converts make it out and 66% of born-ins do. Not all of them realize what has happened to them though ( ahmm exPatCA).

Reject what exactly? You're using a broad term. Matthew 12:31 for example is clear.
I'm suspicious of your claim then. I know of no Witness that would say such a thing without explanation. Plus stay FB friends? Yeah I'm having a hard time believing this.
