"Go therefore to the main roads and invite to the wedding feast as many as you find"
They did change, and there was only one person in the wedding who was still wicked, and he was identified as such, and thrown out to be with the ones who had refused the invitation.
This told by Jesus had a more relevant understanding because at the time the wedding host provided the wedding clothes to the guests and the hosts' expense. The man who was thrown out because he came in attempting to wear his own attire.
The deeper understanding of this is this:
The host is God
The clothes are provided by God
The clothes provided by God came at his expense
The clothes provided by God which came at his expense was the sacrifice of Jesus
The clothes provided by God is the righteousness we have through the blood of Jesus
The man who came in not wearing the clothes provided is attempting to enter the feast based on his own righteousness.
The man who came in not wearing the clothes provided is attempting to enter the feast based on his own righteousness, will not sit among those who are wearing the clothes that are washed in the blood of the Lamb.

Yes, and contrary to what Eusebius said, they did change, because when you put on the garment "the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here".

A renewing of the mind and heart or maturity comes without observation.
The outer covering is a dolphin having been taken from the water, and then the dyed red ram where you have to die as a man and become a virgin because the next layer is Palestinian she goat and this is Joseph's land, '' The bride.''
The wedding garment.
The very last layer of the veil is a fine woven work of linen that the bride must make herself, it is the white wedding garment.

The parable does not say that. Here is the part you missed:
Matthew 22:10-14 And, coming out into the roads, those slaves gathered all whom they found, both wicked and good,
so it is no longer an invitation.
They gathered in both the wicked and the good. They compelled them to come. They probably said to them: "Free wine and food for everyone!" Heck, I'd go too!
and filled is the wedding with those lying back at table." (11) Now the king, entering to gaze at those lying back at table, perceived there a man who has not put on wedding apparel." (12) And he is saying to him, 'Comrade, how did you enter here having no wedding apparel?' Yet he was still."
The KJV translated the Greek word for "comrade" as "friend" three times.
(13) Then the king said to the servants, 'Binding his feet and hands, cast him out into outer darkness.' There shall be lamentation and gnashing of teeth." (14) For many are the called, yet few are the chosen."
Since both "wicked" and "good" are in the plural form, if, as you say, the friend of the king was was still wicked, then that leaves a lot more wicked Israelites enjoying the wedding festivities along with the good Israelites.
This isn't an invitation to salvation but to a wedding festivity. Many are called to come to that festivity but few are actually chosen to attend. It is not an invitation but an event both chosen wicked and good Israelites are compelled to attend.
A renewing of the mind and heart or maturity comes without observation.
Just the opposite.
The host did observe the man who came in not wearing the clothes provided while attempting to enter the feast based on his own righteousness ... aka a self renewing of the mind and heart or maturity
Jesus said it was an invitation "Go therefore to the main roads and invite to the wedding feast as many as you find.’
The means of gathering them was by invitation.
Here Jesus speaks of another occasion where people rejected His desire to 'gather' people. Rejecting an invitation is easy.
"how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing"
So as the man who came in wearing his own clothes. By doing so, he rejected the clothes provided by the host that is required to be seated at the wedding feast. Thus he was removed and sent to the outer darkness where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Yes, he is with the others who are banging on the door, but are told "'Away from me, you evildoers!"
If the host says "wear this garment, and you are welcome to stay" but you refuse, then you will not be welcome.
"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven."
