Does the shooting in Orlando give ANY of you the impetus to stop and ask yourself if, by your fight to reserve the "religious right" to tell gays that God condemns them, you contribute to a culture where a young man feels justified in killing them?

This is the part about their corrupt Gospel of Jesus that I do NOT understand. They will talk about Christ's love and how we should love one another. So,how they can look in their hearts under the guidance of the Comforter at what God has written there in agape love and NOT be appalled at the lack of agape love in their treatment of Gays????

Ignorant people think of nothing, but themselves.

The gay agenda has been unwillingly forced down the throat of the American public, most of whom do not approve of it and would rather not even think about it. The gay life style has been forced upon American society by unelected courts and by men in robes who are not personally invested in the outcome of any of their decisions. Therefore an injustice has been perpetuated upon the people of the United States in particular and the world as a whole.

Gays are a minority who have no real rights in the natural world among men and women of decent society who have in the past had no wish to condone indecent acts. Today these actions are given legal, albeit not moral, approval. Remember that everything Hitler did was legal. It is legal but it isn't right. It is not justified and I am surprised that there has been so little non-peaceful reaction to it.

Did minister Farrakhan speak the truth about human nature?

Where there is perceived injustice, will the American people simply roll over and accept it?

We shall see.

and that's me, hollering from the choir loft...
"Decent" people, huh. I want none of your kind of selfish,self-serving "decent" people. Give me the homeless, especially gay youths kicked out of their homes by your "decency." Give me a drunk or a prostitute or a faithful Muslim or Buddhist. Those were the kinds of people Jesus brought in. He was mostly disgusted with the "decent" bible-believers of His day.

Your ilk have brought religious wars to the U.S. and now one of the most biased, racist, insensitive people in America is about to win the Republican nomination. His god is yours. His heart lurks in you

That's just me preaching at the choir from the pulpit. If the heat is too much, get the hell out of the choir. It will be much purer once you have left.

Absolutely it does. ISIS is honest enough to want to kill physically. Fundamentalist Christians are more subtle, preferring words to kill the spirit of those they feel superior towards.

No cherry picking is needed. The Bible is consistent throughout. Marriage is always described as being between man and woman.
Marriage is not a religious property nor does it stem from any rleigion. Marriage was invented thousand of years ago predating all religions. There were unions in almost any culture that you can think of around the world wihout a connection among them. Same-sex unions were also common.

Let's stop appropriating a human practice that doesn't belong to any religion.

BUT--What if you’re Wrong?

A Question for Every Anti-Gay Person, Pastor, Father, Mother, Friend.

What if you are wrong, like the Pharisees, who believed they knew and lived the Scriptures better than anyone, but were shown out by Jesus to not only be in biblical error, but completing absent of understanding in regards to His heart and essence?

Take a leap of FAITH and see if the TRUTH makes more sense than OPINION.

BUT--What if you’re Wrong?

But, since you think Jesus was wrong about his teachings - as you've indicated elsewhere in this thread - why do you care about his "heart and essence"... or at least his teachings? If what you say is true, then he wasn't any better than the Pharisees.

The gymnastics you people put yourself through in order to be politically correct is mind-boggling. This is why I stay way away from politics.

Obviously one has not really listened to STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN?

I NEVER SAID JESUS WAS WRONG, I have however stated NUMEROUS times--and without apology--that what MEN have written about Jesus is WRONG. I have expanded this belief to say HOW THE ORGANIZED CHURCH INTERPRETS THE WORD'S OF JESUS IS WRONG--DEAD WRONG.
