I listened to Trey Pearson, singer for Christian band Everyday Sunday, when I was a young person growing up in the church. So when I read Pearson’s coming out last week – I was able to see an artist I admired in a new light.
ROCK ON TREY!!!
Faith In America secured interviews with New YorkTimes, NBC, CNN, The View, and a many other publications still coming this week. We’ve helped him not only get press but also make the most impact with his message: He wants the church to change.
A young man is being true to himself and God. He certainly deserves his own thread. I hope other young Christians feel a bit of courage from his actions.
Then again. You are certainly welcome to have your fundamentalist orgasm over his actions for all to witness.
Give your hand a break once in a while from the friction.

Darn Z. I am out of reps. Here. Just for you
Gee look, another gay thread that I DID NOT create. But hey, I'm the obsessed one huh? He does not deserve praise for making a statement that his sexuality is more important than serving God. He cements that statement even more by headlining a gay pride event. If that's the message he is wanting to convey, I don't consider them to be a Christian band.

A young Christian came out. You wish to make this about you. I am sure your opinion about his music does not effect a thing. Neither does you opinion of his serving God.
I think when ever a young person is true to themselves it serves God.

BUt you seem to keep COMING back.
OH LOOK, a GAY thread that Jeffy did not start, but look, he seems to right there contributing...
The article seems to have LESS to do with the BAND and more to do with the MAN..
Didn't they have quite a few RECOGNITION awards and DOVE AWARDS?? It has ZERO to do with what you consider them, they called themselves CHRISTIAN and that is good enough for me.
The liberal theologians only have the front and back covers left on their Bibles; everything in between has been torn out.
Clever boy.
I know the dog eared pages in your Bible. The juicy parts. Fornication, sex, bad girls, bad boys. Those pages have rub marks, and the oil from your fingers that darken the place where you turn the pages.
Those pages, stir your loins.
Mmmmmmm. Sex, bad girls, punishment, fornication, bad boys...fornication..lust.... hatred for Muslims.....fornication.... no Jews allowed..... fornication.... A supremacists wet dream..
