How do people twist it to be the Christians fault though? Does any Christian advocate violence against the LGBT community? Seems like political agenda's are at the forefront of these ridiculous accusations. And it takes away from the radical islam that does promote killing gays, as being merciful, and is responsible for what happened.
You really don't know that some Christian preachers have called for the government to kill gays, some have suggested rounding up all gays and jailing them behind electric fences until they die off, have prayed for God to kill all the gays that were injured in the Orlando shooting but didn't die, and have said that the Orlando killings was a cause for celebration?

And the MUSLIMS are the ones that are actually killing people.

Okay. But some Christians contribute to a culture that encourages that. Can you acknowledge that? If you can, then you can see that they shoulder some of the responsibility, right?

Do you honestly believe the Muslim went and did that because of a "culture that encourages it" by Christians?
Get over it already. Realize it's not the Christians killing anyone, nor are we encouraging it.
Yes, there are some nutjob "Christians" that cheer on the violence. But we've seen ZERO violence as a result. I've also seen universal condemnation of them by every Christian I know of when they hear about it.

Nice try. "Some of rhe responsibility" does not seem to compute: it's all or nothing to that mentality, at least as far as excusing their faults.

True , in this instance . So I guess your statement can be summed up as "yes, some Christians are disgustingly homophobic, but at least we are not as bad as the Muslim who killed 49 people".

There is increasing evidence that the shooter was a closet homosexual who was conflicted about it because of his religious beliefs and a fear of HIV . His father is reported to have told him that " gays are of the devil and deserve to die", and the father had apparently also posted some homophobic statements on FB after the shooting that have since been taken down .
So yes, a climate of hate by religious people in America seems likely to have contributed to this guy snapping and shooting up a gay bar . He was almost certainly already mentally ill, and this was just a trigger point .
Christianized gays tired of the hate seem to deal with it by committing suicide . A better way for society , at least .

He was a MUSLIM that wanted to kill Americans. He told the 911 operator that he was doing it in response to US attacks on Syria. I think he was primarily after a soft target, and that's what he found in a nightclub where he could take weapons in. I think it had less to do with homosexuals than his fascination with ISIS and hatred of America.

I find it amazing that you are trying to turn this from a question of MUSLIM terrorism to Christians supposedly conditioning him to hatred. He wasn't going to a Christian church -- he was going to a mosque. One witness even said that he went with him to a mosque. This has NOTHING to do with Christianity.
That is mind-boggling to me. That is an amazing display of anti-Christian bigotry.

Admitted .
I'd be willing to go with that, yes. Say what you want, but Christians are not the ones shooting people. To the contrary, Christians outright condemn this stuff when it happens, and we condemn those rednecks that are "disgustingly homophobic".
