I have said this before, one of my best friends is a neo-Reaganite. He served in the Air Force (retired as a Lt. Colonel) and has pictures of Reagan all over his house, his last three dogs were Reagan 1, Reagan 2 and Reagan 3...
Yet he was one of the most compassionate people I have ever known. I believe it has something to do with not jugging others and accepting the reality that one must CHANGE their circumstances before they can change their life.
He teaches ROTC at the inner-city high schools and the work he has done is nothing short of miraculous.
I think he is now up to Reagan 5 and recently added a Reagan wing to his house...
