Can't beat that with a stick
He did not create us as sinners, Adam did that for us. It is not part of creation, just within the ability of man and ... Adam chose wrongly and we inherit from him as we do many other things in life.

I'm sorry, that doesn't tell me anything. Can you explain how it works?

How on earth could Adam have chosen wrong when he only gained the knowledge of good and evil AFTER his choice??? I swear there is no logic or reason among fundies or JW's.

What a silly post. You assume there is no after life. Those who died went to heaven or at least to Abraham's bosom. What could be more loving than that?

Adam did not blame God. He confessed his sin. That is why God made him a long garment that covered all of his nakedness.

I'm sorry, that is a seriously togh question. The only one I have ever seen who came close to answering it is mitchellmckain with his point that we form bad habits. I still don't see it as anything but an intellectual knowledge of truth withut incorporating it into our emotional understanding..... and THAT is where the pain or distress is just going to come in, that's how it works.

So the lord had to kill something or poof skins to clothe them?

Now that ingenious Eusebi.

And sick, is that the best the creator of the universe could come up with?

Quote:
New Living Translation
And the LORD God made clothing from animal skins for Adam and his wife.

God warned him long before the eating event that they would die if they ate of that tree. So obviously Adam knew it would displease his creator before it occurred.
