It would be unfair and not prudent to suggest ALL college students are morphed into non-christian idiologies on campus ( a gradual spin that to a lesser degree invovles religion , but rather faith). Colleges can become sort of a boot camp of mixed philosophies . To some extent it means a freedom from the the mandated duldrums of church facility redundancies or a parachute from religion by students themselves. This mindset makes for quasi covens to make their move! Students often shift to agosticism even a atheistic radicalization via infuencers ie; unbeievers, campus literature, professors and group reteric. Statisically , the process begins even in senior high school to a degree. What once was youthful
seed(s) planting is now a sytematic withering away like a flower or a stripping away of innocense. Lurking within the campus is an ordor that
equates to an anti-christ movement ( naturally unrecognized by those lurking). How can we shift these religious type babies to see that evil is good and good is evil? Students must be watchmen and women and continue as before being able to dicipher attempts to dislink them from
God in general. We cannot compromise freedom of speech , but we have OUR script OUR speech as well to counter near demonic influences.
The physical church has failed to provide this mentoring to a degree leaving parents and student to fend for themselves. Godless entities are
a challenge for students still attempting to refine their personas, place on earth and identities. Don't get trapped in socialism, marxism, new age,
manufactured theologies that say God failed to address!! Don't get caught up in political correctness at the cost of God covenants. Amen?

It was definitely being pushed when I was in a Big Ten college in the late 70's, so I can only imagine what it's like now. Peace

You can't. Prophecy says man will call good bad, and bad good, before the end and ............... yep it is happening. This is Satan's world and he controls all Governments and that includes every dept including Education. It will only get worse until the End.

I expected to learn in college. I picked my specialty and degrees. I did not choose religious influence for my career. I was not about to pay for religion either. Every credit was far too expensive to listen to the personal religious viewpoint of a teacher. I never tolerated it.

I had no interest in hearing about any teachers' summer vacation, or Sunday service experiences that had nothing to do with the curriculum. I had little time for nonsense and personal opinions of religion.

Funny thing, my children feel the same way. Save

It's understandable that Fundanatics would be anti-education.

Knowledge is power and fundies want to keep their sheep powerless, tractable and stupid.

Satan controls Cal State Long Beach?

Does this mean the JW's are knocking on doors in Lakewood saying, "Don't send your English major to CSULB! It's Satan's school!!!"?

It's obvious that a lot of fundamentalists don't teach their kids to think for themselves.

Maybe they think children who are capable of independent thought (questioning, reasoning, using both sides of the brains God gave them) are tools of Satan. Like English teachers.

My high school English teacher significantly altered my life's path with his encouragement, scathing wit and unfailing honesty.

I honoured him as best I could in my book's acknowledgments. But when it was published he had advanced Alzheimer's and never saw it.

Many of those kids are agnostic or atheist when they leave home. They just can't tell anyone.

Other people will see it. He may not have known...but they will.
