You have been shown the verses which prove that Christs parables were intentionally meant to be obscured to His enemies. If they are to be taken at face value, then how was Christ's message obscured to His enemies at all? If Christ's intent was to have His parable convey the very same meaning about the afterlife that the Pharisees already believed, then what you are essentially saying is that Jesus was in agreement with the Pharisees. That doesn't make much sense to me!
remember, christ didn't write the books. that's a big hurtle in of itself. Also, and ozzy points this out a lot, that it gets troublesome writing down exactly what you mean, let alone someone else doing it so many years after.

Do you really think that you need to point out to me that Jesus didn't write anything down? Give me some credit here!

If you're going to try to make the point that nobody can ever know what is meant by the what the NT authors wrote, then there's really no point discussing what was written. There are some very ambiguous things written, and other things that are pretty plain! We can only discuss what the writers tell us about what He said. It serves no purpose to throw your hands up and say, "Oh well, we can never know!" We know what is written, and we know it says that He told parables for the purpose of obscuring the truth from His enemies! This is what it says! There's really no basis for an argument against what is plainly stated, unless you are going to call all of His recorded words into question. And if that's the case, then what's the point?

That's what Jesus did in this parable. He flipped the script to show that our condition in this life is not necessarily a result of our sin. Bad things do happen to good people! The Pharisees of Jesus' day believed otherwise!

I will NOT cut Jesus off mid-sentence, as you have.
Yea...His people...Israel...
