I always tell my wife, burn me so my lego pieces get used by the next generation faster. And toss my ashes anywhere you feel that would help you forget about me.

she aksed me "who are yo again??
Doesn't cremation release all your energy at once? With decomposition it happens slowly and you could end up a delicious tomato?

Cremation? What is wrong with cremation?
This physical body is dust.
I don't think anyone is saying anything is wrong with it. Only that some people seem to need to opportunity to view the corpse for a sense of closure. That was how I felt about it, anyway, at my brother's funeral. But, I realized that it was an emotional response, and not rational.
It must be a remnant of my carnal mind that makes me prefer traditional burial for myself. Maybe it is a sign of vanity? Almost every funeral I've ever attended had a body on display. I kind of thought this gave the loved ones who attended the body a better sense of closure to gather with friends and family around the body of the deceased. My mother was cremated before I ever even got into town and I know that some of her Christian friends were looking for her body at the funeral and were somewhat shocked to be told that only her ashes remained in a jar at the front of the church.
I'm not so sure about that Rain. I was pro cremation for EVERYONE prior to coming to the know the Lord. But after, I noticed I felt an uneasiness in my Spirit about it. I can't tell you why, He's never shown me, but something changed in me regarding it. Peace

I've known of 2 cases where the body was displayed in a casket at the funeral home so people could have a normal visitation. Later the rental casket was returned and the body cremated.
