I erased that part explaining that . just know John the revelator and Enoch and lots more will be at it again for a time before his Judgement. when exactly I don't know! But God tells John clearly in REV he will preach again and Enoch says basically the same thing .. that they are coming back to the houses of the righteous and john to preach and throw in some two witnesses and some angels and everyone will hear . so just know God is LOVE and he isn't going to miss one who will repent. the rest won't and he can't make them. so it is good news to all in the grave who had been looking for him anyway.
So, wait, you can pick and choose what to believe in the bible? I thought you were of the camp that found that anathema.

I can't imagine how anyone could believe that God condemning "many or most" to eternal torment could possibly be seen as bringing great joy to all people. Such a thing is virtually impossible.
Do you honestly believe the "good news of great joy" was in reference to hell? You sure make it sound like you do, but I don't think that is what you actually believe.
It was reference to the birth of a messiah, who gives eternal life, not hell, to all who believe in Him.
But then again, you already knew that.
We all die, do we not? Does that mean "good news of great joy" should be in reference to physical death? Of course not.
Twin, you agree that verse says that, and you choose not to believe it? Same question for you as for Jimmie -- have you changed your stance on picking and choosing what in the bible to believe?
It's the same as the Good News. God has sent His Son to save us, but as Jesus pointed out, most will reject Him.
It makes no sense to me that anyone would find the message that the majority of people will suffer eternally through, according to you, a lack of interest, "good news that will bring joy to all people".
If ALL people were under condemnation (John 3), the it IS good news!
When the bible (which I'm assuming you are referring to as the word) says the "Good news of great joy which will be to ALL people", how is the message that many or most people will spend an eternity in torment good news for ALL people, and how does that bring you great joy?
I have hope that some might actually take the time now to thoroughly and sincerely examine their eternal torment belief in light of the angel's proclamation of good news that WILL bring GREAT JOY to ALL people. It obviously is a serious contradiction.
Obviously people who spread a message of bad news have not yet heard the gospel. Not to worry, they will get a chance after they die and stand at the white throne judgement.

By defintion, good news (God so loved the world) requires bad news (all have sinned).
