Is it okay I put friends before my family? (Gospel, woman, church)

I have listened to sermons that explain to put Faith first, Family 2nd then Friends 3rd. I never felt close to my parents and siblings and seeked out friends who I could share life with and feel connected to. I currently have a Christian boyfriend and he's my priority after God. We share he same beliefs and attend the same Church. If we happen to get married, he will be my new family which our relationship with God will be the main priority in our life. Then the friends we share are my 3rd priority and the family I grew up is last priority

Did you ever read Matthew 10:37-38 ______, and Matthew 12:50 ________
Jesus put his God as first priority in his life - Luke 4:43
After his baptism Jesus referred to Mary as ' woman '.
( Not meaning any disrespect, but that his spiritual ties came first )
So, besides putting others in a seeming ' second ' place, we are to put oneself in ' second ' place - see Luke 14:26
We are to 'hate ' ( meaning: love to a lesser degree ) even oneself in order to put spiritual interests first place in life.

Just as a school system has a chain of command (so to speak), where the teacher is head of the pupil, the principal is head of the teacher, and the super is head of the principal.
Christians are assigned positions, or a proper roll order - Ephesians 5:21-33; 1st Peter 3:7
That includes showing proper honor to one's parents: honor 'thy father, mother' in taking the lead to honor them.
- Romans 12:10; Philippians 2:3
So, one does Not have to feel close (emotion) in order to obey Scriptural order.
We are even to love enemies, and that showing of love does Not have to include emotions but biblical principles/standards.

In Luke 8:21 Jesus said ``My mother and my brethren are these which hear the Word of God , and does it ``............................. Still you should claim your parents and your siblings for the kingdom of Heaven and believe and expect God to do this ..``

Amen! Jesus comes before Father, Mother, wife, husband, children and anything else. Secondly, your brothers and sisters in Christ come next. If your natural family reject the Gospel, then you have absolutely no obligation to them, save praying for them.

G-d the Father comes first...Even Jesus told you that, but you missed it...
