you can not find deliverance with out HIM and his book... which you do not want and so you can not have had deliverance from it....
you have just been burning books, that is not deliverance but rebellion . answer my question !

Salvation, as I see it, has to do with healing, being made whole, and being set free, as well as restoration/reconciliation. The unhealthy beliefs, attitudes and behaviors engendered by my life-long immersion in fundamentalist-type religion and thinking were a prison of darkness and did a lot of damage that I couldn't even recognize until I was out of it.
Keep singing it, Sister. There is a very false god in the bible and fundamentalists succumb to it. They enjoy dark thoughts of revenge and judgment and suffering -- as long as it happens to Others.
I think there's a worthy god in there too. But fundamentalists can't find it because that's not what they seek.

There's the root of the problem. They can read the will He left us, but leave out the codicil parts that explain the requirements and PARTICIPATION in DOING something, before they can APPROPRIATE it all. Faith without works is dead.
Sort of like your rich brother left you an island in the Bahamas and untold riches that dad first gave him, but he demanded you first make amends over your estrangement from your father and mother at a sit down black tie dinner, before receiving the keys to the place and the password to the safety deposit box.
You ignore this, and show up suitcase in hand, in your own timing, in your best Hawaiian shirt, expecting the keys to the kingdom to be handed over to you, not realizing dinner is long cold, you're severely underdressed, lacking a passport, and the plane has already landed and you weren't on it.
