According to Gen. 2:16-17, there was only one plant that God said not to consume...all others they were to "freely" enjoy.
The Knowledge of Good and Evil, go figure.
What i do know about marijuana is it opens our eyes to things we don't normally see. I also believe if Christians used it in moderation, there would be continual revival in the faith.

hmm. Could also be that since more ppl are less averse to pot use every day, this is bringing about the destruction of that belief system (as contrasted with faith).

"Holiness" means "set apart" or "separate", "other than"; as in:
The Lord alone is holy. (Rev. 15:4)
"Illegal" is not the issue - it's legal in the locations mentioned in the OP; I'm asking about the level of tolerance/acceptance in light of the change in policy.

I don't think there is no tolerance, Tzap is correct as far as I can see, but ya know what some Jews say that really scare me?
It's that a sacrifice for sin is there to cover sins you did unaware if I am remembering correctly, that maybe when you willingly and knowingly sin against the commandments of God, there is no sacrifice.
I am not really sure if I know what I am talking about in this thing, but everything we are taught, we are taught that the Holy spirit comes to help you NOT break the laws of Moses.
When you are about to willingly sin, there is a spirit in your left eye whether good or whether bad, and when your right eye sees what it wants, your right hand reaches out to take it but that spirit in the left eye is there SOLELY to give you strength to not sin, it is a guiding spirit that helps you rule over your own body, and when you willingly and knowingly want to sin by the desires of your right eye, your left eye should be able to stop you but men are born with fallen spirits of Adam.
In your right hand is a viper, and in your right eye is the eye of a viper.
If you let one hand know what the other is doing, and you have made friends between the left eye and the right eye as if the two have become one, then you should rip your right eye out of your head, and then cut your right hand off because the two are not to be one, one must die.
You stand directly between the two.
Your right eye sees and desires what it wants and your left eye is there to guide you away from your desires, and there you are in the middle as a priest sitting upon a throne making peace between God and man, but have you made peace between the two kingdoms?
Which one has died?
You are in the middle, one eye says yes, and one eye is SUPPOSED to say ,'' NO.''
But you are in the middle, and you will make a decision.
There is nothing in the Bible that forbids the drinking of alcohol. In fact, there are numerous verses in Scripture that speak of moderate alcohol consumption as a positive thing and part of the enjoyment of life. I don't smoke pot, but I'll defy anyone to find a Bible verse that tells people that they can't twist one.
There is simply no clear-cut / definitive scripture for or against pot. Not everything is covered in scriptures, nor needs to be. There's nothing about computers, coffee, fidget spinners, etc. No biggie. Move on to something more significant and relevant.
"And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit"
