grow up city slicker.. you are talking to someone who actually helps with the butchering of what she eats at home.... and cries every time I see it, every time I see their eyes roll and that is death so I can live ... knowing it is the results of the fall. and that is just the stuff of our physical condition and nothing to do with our spiritual one . grow up peanut.

And how does this help you to grow in love, nX?
Reminds me of a Native American ritual that I've read about. It seems to me the difference between their ritual and yours, is theirs is one of gratitude, while yours is one of guilt.:
Drinking Blood: There's no more powerful way to immerse yourself in the natural world than to learn how to hunt, using wild animals as a source of food. In some cultures, it's traditional for a hunter to drink the blood of his or her first kill. This ritualization of the act helps drive home the message that the animal is giving its life so that you may live and that killing is not something which should be taken lightly; it's also traditional to thank the animal for the gift of its life while you're doing this. Sometimes, the hunter may also smear the blood on his face (although it's hard not to get some there anyways), a little ceremony to welcome the neophyte into his new identity as a hunter.
You can do this by simply grabbing a handful of blood as the animal is being drained from its neck or by removing the heart and drinking the blood that comes out of that. Blood is hot and thick and tastes strongly of copper. It's not something you'll ever forget doing.

And, for good measure, it's also something forbidden by G-d, the eating of blood, that is. In the natural it's sickening, and the life is in the blood is not referring to it's ability to sustain life as in needing it to live, but rather is another word basically for soul. So if you eat the blood you're consuming the soul of that creature, because the life/soul is in the blood. And since animals represent the carnal beastly natures of Adam's heart in the first place, it's also adding to the carnal beastly nature to consume more of it. Each animal has a nature/name Adam gave it. His wisdom is perfect unto the saving of the soul even. Ah, then there's Jezebel, drunk on the BLOOD of the saints. So much I could go into here of His wisdom for saving of the soul.....Peace

Anyone who eats any kind of meat, even if kosher/halal, eats some blood. You're fooling yourself if you think otherwise.

I grew up on a ranch, and never have I mutilated or scourged a cow, pig or chicken (or another human being) beyond recognition or claim it was to cover my sin, so I can live a healthy life? Your sacrificial-system is incomprehensible, especially if you think it’s the blood that comforts and sustains you.

Praises for every meal.
Bless the LORD, O my soul, And all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget none of His benefits; Who pardons all your iniquities,
the soul was severed from the flesh.
Oh give thanks to the LORD, call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples.
water blood water spirit.
always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father;
Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name.
