Yes. I don't care what anyone else believes about "Nephilim" -- they are entitled to believe whatever they wish. Just agreeing with your thoughts, because they are in sync with my own.
You do realize that Enoch is not Scripture, right?
That's probably why I said in post #37 that Enoch is not to be taken as canonical. Nevertheless, the New Testament writers referred to Enoch.
And Genesis 6:4 itself states that the sons of God took human wives and bore children. Therefore, any offspring would not be merely human.

In any event, if Numbers 13 was a smaller group....did they also incur the same treatment? Were they also in prison as a result, just like the previous group? Why did Scripture not speak of it?
This MAY be right...maybe this is what happened....I'm just not ready to say it is, based on conjecture.
Since the Bible doesn't say what happened to the second group of angels, if that is indeed the explanation for the later Nephilim, we can't say. But it would make sense that they would have been imprisoned in Tartarus (2 Peter 2:4) just as the first group was.

carefull pleroo, art does not imitate life these days.
And the reason is quite clear. Just as it is quite clear when mammon is involved.

The issue that I have with quoting from Enoch is that we have no reason to believe the text we have now known as "Enoch" is the same one the apostles quoted from.
But what were the "sons of God"? I believe that was a phrase that designates those that followed God, as opposed to the men that didn't.

Perhaps....but I think we're reading into the text to say all of this. I'm just not ready to believe that such a thing as angelic half-breeds exist without more information. I'm not ready to open that can of worms.

And mine with yours.
