If I am GUARANTEED a place in heaven because I believe Jesus has already died for my sins and I am now saved, then that's it !! It's over !!
What differnce does it make if I become like Christ or Hitler for the rest of my life? I should finish my life and go straight to paradise, no?
Jesus most definitely didn't lie, because he knew if everyone had love for each other. then it would cover the Laws of Jehovah God's 10 Commandments.
The entire law comes down to mercy, all the law and the prophets come down to loving God and your neighbor, not just the ten commandments, most Christians don't even keep the ten commandments. God's Sabbath is not followed by many.

There is a process after salvation called sanctfication, a lifelong process of becoming like Christ, before we spend eternity with Him.
Sorry, that is not what the verse says...Also, in Torah it states that no one may die for another’s sin, that each man shall die for his own sins...

The ONLY process we need to concern ourselves with is sanctification, Jimmie. Our salvation was accomplished by Jesus. We accomplish our sanctification by following His instructions to His disciples to love God and each other every day and repent when we don't. Everything else in Christian dogma is confusion from the "precepts and doctrines of men."
