Lot lived in Sodom. He was saved before the city was destroyed.

Having his soul tortured from what he heard and saw daily, what do you believe tortured him the most?

To listen to the fake stories that all his friends and neighbours were gays who were driven by their genitals, rather than understand that his friends and neighbours were just not selfish and greedy, as in inhospitable.

If I had to guess it was probably rubbing salt into his wounds?

God blessed Lot and then two tribes came out of His descendants which became enemies to Israel , where Lot was Abraham nephew ........ In Genesis 19:37-38....``The first born bore a son , and called his Moab, he is the father of the Moabites to this day , and the younger , she also bore a son , and called his name Ben-ammi, he is the father of the sons of Ammon to this day ............... In Deuteronomy 23;3 says ``An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord ``.......... See Lot was blessed by God but missed the covenant of the house of Isaac and became lost to God ......

I suspect that Lot hurt most over the fact that his wife died and maybe turned around because chances are Lot didn't have just girl children and thus she turned around to see if her sons escaped.
I think that is a good chance that was his heart ached about the most .. the probable loss of all his sons and his wife because she loved them more than God's command to her . as many mothers have understood that conflict in todays sick world
