Ive been to a couple of SDA churches before and they sick and shut in list is just as big as the Sunday churches own that eats anything. Problem with Vegan , is the insane amount of processed food that are eaten, because you have to be very creative to do that daily.

Personally, I think that the increase of veganism is a spiritual indicator, and the timing of it happening now is key, i.e. the onset of a new age, the millennium etc. At the end of which, all mankind will be back to the original intended diet as per Genesis.
Personally, I'm glad God told Noah to enjoy and eat of anything, not just veggies.

I find the comments based on scientific / research based data more useful with respect to the OP motion, ...and that's what classic debate is - a motion is stated as fact, and then it is debated, with the house supporting or opposing the motion.
I saw a few weeks ago a brief video of an outfit called anonymous for the voiceless who make a 'cube of truth' in town centres, put masks on their faces and turn outwards holding computers and tablets. They show graphic videos of generic animal cruelty (processing) involved in the food industry. They are having a big impact in making people think about their personal food choices.
The scientific data on just what the body needs, nutritionally, is an important part of the debate if there is falsity in the vegan view.
