This is such an interesting discussing.

When have we seen lately, in today's modern times ( for the last 50 years } - the Pontiffs making proclamations that have the title assertion or proclaimed and claim - that their annunciation, announcement, proclamation or statement is published and announced as infallible, or with the full authority of office = as defined in { as official Roman Catholic doctrine ). ? ?

Roman Catholics do not have a well publicised and readily available list of infallible statements made by their Pontiffs.

I can not find a complete “table of contents” of infallible / Ex Cathedra Papal statements anywhere online. I am sure that there is a list somewhere but all I find are partial lists and various opinions about what was said. * nothing definite or concrete is available in a full list for the public.

One of the latest and most recent infallible statement made by a Pontiff - is the Canaan Law called
" Munificentissimus Deus " which was proclaimed by Pontiff Pius XII in 1950. This was written by Pope Pius XII - giving - Ex-cathedra - To the official dogma of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary.

Other than that I do not know of any other listed { lately publicised } modern given infallible statements made by the Pontiffs. The Pontiffs can make statements but there is no military force to back us what they say.

And the Pontiffs and Roman Catholics - used to destroy, ban, prohibit, outlaw and make illegal whole libraries of hundreds of books and writings that people wrote who disagree with the Catholic Church.
Papal - Ex-cathedra / infallible declarations and statements were enforced by the Catholic population.

Whole cities of Catholics would go on hunting sprees, hunting down books, writings and the authors, and translators in order to gather every single book that was on the list of banned books.

Huge organized bonfires and burning organizations would gather in a city to conduct an attempt to make the infallible statements and Ex-cathedra Papal proclamation into enforced law.
Piles of books were seized and burned including Bibles and Scriptures and other Anti Catholic books and writings. Even people were burned alive.

I am sure that these type of Catholic organizations and Catholic Governments and communities exist today in a lesser sense - However, it is impossible for the Pontiffs and Catholic Church to publicize and enforce their demands today.

Since WWll, the Roman Catholic Church has not had a military force to ordain, consecrate, enthrone and enact their demands. American military troops, military bases and military monitoring units have been placed in Italy and Germany since the ending of WWll. The Germans and Italians were not allowed to even have a military until just the last twenty-five years.

When the Italian Catholic government in Italy, the Italian Government had even sent Saddam Hussein a scientist and materials for manufacturing a Nuclear Bomb, *( Back in the 1980s )
The Jews had to Bomb the Nuclear facility, ending up accidentally killing an Italian Scientist who was on the grounds of the facility. The Jews begged and pleaded and Cried out to Catholic Italy, BEGGING them to stop. PLEASE, PLEASE Stop sending Saddam Hussein materials and technology and scientists to build this Nuclear Bomb BUT Catholic Italy Ignored their pleas and cries and begs.

The American Government with help from the Israeli Government today, are not allowing the Catholic headquarters { mainly Italy } - and the Italian Catholic Government to continue building up evil governments such as Hitler or Saddam Hussein or Mussolini. Or other militaries as it had done in the past. Therefore there is no way possible, today, for the Pope to make an - Ex-cathedra / infallible declaration and statement, because there is no military organization behind it to enforce anything that would be successful. And the Catholic Church does not waste much time on unsuccessful publicized / public operations that are not effective.

These efforts are today all done in secrecy and in the underworld of manipulation. The Catholics have to influence and manipulate the political structures of governments before another Ex-cathedra / infallible declaration and statement can be forced onto Roman Catholics.

In the old days, the Catholic governments would simply give Roman Catholics special rights, priority and status and Lordship over Non - Catholics, and that would incentivize the Catholic populations to go into a total fit of totally wild and into mantic panicked, frenzied of a group froth mode, implementing the will of the Vatican and the Political-military Kingdoms - that It was enjoined with.

It was a very religious military faith. God was very involved. - This is not working so well since WWll.
The Pope Spoke the Canaan Law - that the Catholic public in Germany could support, vote for and follow Adolf Hitler - and the entire Catholic political society voted Hitler into power. - as a group. Sure there was a very, very small percentage of Catholic Rebels who rebelled - but the Pontiffs need the full support of organizational efforts - before they make such Ex-cathedra / infallible declarations and statements - or they would simply cease to be infallible.

Today Pontiff Francis is only concentrating { openly } publicly concentrating - only upon people, things, ideas, and movements that which He can control and manipulate. Things such as gay sex = saying ( God made homosexuals that way ) .... Birth control - the rules can be modified. and also married priests - Priests who are married can exist in some cases. Also immigration - The Pontiff demands that every anti-Catholic government set up someone on their throne who is not racially native to the area in order to prove they are not racist. Also, the Pontiff demands that everyone open their immigrant doors to receive and support and make citizenized - the darker males of the Canaanite, Persian Arabain areas of the Mid East who have no fathers and mother still living together back home in the world of Islam - because Muslim mothers and fathers are allowed to divorce as much as they wish and not allowed to use birth control.

Nothing is working as mandated Canaan law. But The Catholic Church is still doing what it has always done before - BUT - just mostly - playing dysfunctional victim to get it done.

So the Pope is "infallible" when the Pope declares it to be so.

Again, capital punishment rests on the participant not the authorities. If you commit a crime there are consequences; cause and effect.

Don’t blame the government for executions. The responsible part is the offender.

Pope Francis' teaching against the death penalty are really nothing new. The Catholic Catechism already taught that the death penalty was only admissible when there is no other way to protect the public. Francis is just reiterating that such circumstances are nonexistent in today's society:

2267 The traditional teaching of the Church does not exclude, presupposing full ascertainment of the identity and responsibility of the offender, recourse to the death penalty, when this is the only practicable way to defend the lives of human beings effectively against the aggressor.
"If, instead, bloodless means are sufficient to defend against the aggressor and to protect the safety of persons, public authority should limit itself to such means, because they better correspond to the concrete conditions of the common good and are more in conformity to the dignity of the human person.
"Today, in fact, given the means at the State's disposal to effectively repress crime by rendering inoffensive the one who has committed it, without depriving him definitively of the possibility of redeeming himself, cases of absolute necessity for suppression of the offender 'today ... are very rare, if not practically non-existent.'[John Paul II, Evangelium vitae 56.]

Many people want to argue that a heinous criminal "deserves" death. They completely miss the point of both Church teaching and of our criminal justice system. The point is not to give offenders "what they deserve". Only God can do that. The point is to protect the public by deterrence and incarceration.

The pope is just a man, and his views are on the same level as the rest of us. I see no reason to elevate his views and opinions above anyone elses. Being in the 'public eye" and being famous doesn't count.

We need only our own minds to decide how to view the death penalty.

Perhaps 'the crazy guy' is referring to the protestants who were so influenced by the Roman Catholic Church that they diligently followed their instruction by abrogating the Bible Creation Sabbath and installing a bogus sabbath in its place. Sunday IS the 'sabbath' of the mainstream Christian Church, is it not? This sounds VERY Catholic to me.
