Problem is, they softened Paul the Apostle a bit and added stuff that wasn't true. Lots of truth to it but it was what it was.

We've seen the Left Behind series multiple times.

Thanks so much!!
Check out the Bible collection series. These movies stick very close to scripture, really well produced with some pretty big name actors. Richard Harris is fantastic as Abraham. Really brings it to life.

If, however, it bothers you to see biblical characters portrayed by actors of races that you might not have associated with those characters, it might not be for you. I personally found the symbolism of multi-racial apostles to be a positive note in the production.

I think those who no longer hold Acts to be true but are familiar with the stories would find it a good watch, as well.

Rest assured that most of the apostles, as well as Caiaphas and Pilate, all speak with English accents just as everybody did in the first century.
The race of the actors/actresses is secondary to the fact that it, and the Bible miniseries were just horribly inaccurate. I honestly don't care what color of skin the actor has. I just want it to tell the story correctly.

Someone above said the "Jesus" film...if I recall, that was pretty good.

Of course you do, otherwise you would not have brought it up!

I find there are a number of true-to-the Bible video movies to consider at www.jw.org and www.jwbroadcasting.
