Can you link me one such sermon to listen to from a reputable church in DFW or is this just a projection based on living in a country of bigots and haters and being told all conservative evangelical conversation = hate and clinging to resentment and bitterness

Agreed. I think it's also why we're seeing more and more women pastors. If the congregation is mostly female, there is a natural desire to have a woman as pastor.

I'ts a projection. He's one of the usual suspects here that attacks anyone that remotely sounds like they are conservative.

Ah, OK. Thanks for the explanation.

Haha, I wouldn't hear such a sermon because I would have walked out long before it was finished.

NFL opening Sunday is in a few weeks, you will be seeing even less men until Super Bowl, with that grand Xmas Day appearance in between.

Then there are some churches who believe the controlling authority of male dominance where women are called to submit to their spouse , but this legalism in some churches does not inhibit the women to go to church ....... Still there are some couples which the man goes to church every week and the wife stays home and becomes a weak Christian as this can work both ways

Wouldn't you know it, women like showing up for that sort of stuff

Reminds me of marketing / advertising: every ad for guys is about how you need this hair product to not go bald and be ugly, you need to lose 50 pounds because your wife has lost interest in you, you can't perform in bed and need this pill, etc. Every ad for gals is about how you're beautiful no matter what, treat yoself, you deserve this, etc.
Wow, are YOU going to the wrong church!! Either that, or you're making this up; it's hard to believe that kind of petty stuff gets presented in sermons. I've never heard a sermon about that topics. Where do you live? Are you sure you didn't accidentally tune into a Jerry Springer show?

Among Eastern Orthodox churches, men have begun to outnumber women in recent years.
As a male frustrated with protestant evangelical churches and have started looking into Orthodoxy, it's easy to see why.
Not that Orthodoxy doesn't appeal to women, rather, it doesn't turn men off quite so easily.

As for marital talk during sermons, that's quite common among evangelicals where the focus is in the more self-help pep-talk vain. Nothing wrong with that from time to time I guess.
