Missing the mark changes you not God. You will continue to miss the mark while you believe you are a dirtbag. Dirtbags can do nothing other than miss the mark.

God help Sophia if this is your attitude.
What do you mean "If I want to be"? Our flesh is constantly at war with our spirit. Our flesh, i.e. our sin nature is anathema to Gods ways. However as we grow in the Lord, sin will disgust us because it disgusts God. We can't serve both God and sin, we can only have one master. We don't have to teach kids to be bad, it's in their nature.

I quoted scripture, verbatim. If you say that you don't sin, you're lying. There's nothing in scripture about "missing the mark". That's a term used to justify our sin. "Oh, I can still look at porn, because God loves me. yeah, I "missed the mark" but God still loves me".

Sin means missing the mark. Do you call Sophia a dirt bag when she fails you?

Of course not, and God doesn't call us that either, but that doesn't mean that we're not. My flesh, i.e. sin nature is constantly at war with my spirit, that's why we have to constantly stay rooted in the Word and church.

So, does your daughter thinks she’s a dirtbag because you don’t call her one? . So if God is not calling you that or something similar, why are you?. Your bible says to be rooted and established in the love of God. You are not what you are in the flesh. Read Roman’s 7. God is not looking at your flesh(your outward man or fallen nature or whatever you perceive your flesh to be), he looks at your true identity, which is created in his likeness , So be careful not to call what is created in his image a dirt bag, whether that be yourself or another. There is also one thing for sure, how you see yourself is how you see others and vice versa.

I'm not sure the point of what you write. So lemme do this, if you're okay with it. Lemme ask you a few questions to see where you stand; sort of establish a baseline if you will. Are you ok with that? I'm just a little concerned because I posted scripture, verbatim, and you essentially ignored it.

1. Do you believe that we can be sin free, here on earth? Like literally never sin?

2. Do you believe that Jesus is the only way to get to heaven, i.e. acknowledge that he died on the cross for your sins, and to repent and turn away from your sin nature and accept him as Lord and Savior?

That's it for now, if I think of anymore, I'l post them. Thanks

Not sure the point of your caps and italics, but I loathe my sin nature, i.e. the dirtbag. But because of the love of God in Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit, I can turn away, i.e. repent from my sins and walk in the Spirit. If we constantly renew our mind in the word and fellowship with other believers we can't help but walk in Gods love and abhor our sin nature.

Impossible to loathe something about yourself and believe you are loved at the same time of God. If you loathe sin in yourself it’s a surety you will loathe it in others.
