She’s not ridiculing the real Good News: God is not holding sin against anyone. Too bad so many other Christians mock that by insisting that God actually is doing just that.

When you preach out of fear, you are not preaching the gospel. The bible declares that God is no longer holding man's sins against him.

2 Corinthians 5:18-20 Darby Translation (DARBY)
18 and all things [are] of the God who has reconciled us to himself by [Jesus] Christ, and given to us the ministry of that reconciliation:

19 how that God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, not reckoning to them their offences; and putting in us the word of that reconciliation.

20 We are ambassadors therefore for Christ, God as [it were] beseeching by us, we entreat for Christ, Be reconciled to God.

The consequences of sin is death. Also, shame after death of those who have no covering.

The turn or burn in hell forever, 'God is Angry with you' so called gospel is no gospel at all.

Therefore, we contend for the truth and do not try to hide it from people as you and others do. Your message of hate has no power to save.

It is possible to be both.
You don't even know what the gospel is. If you think it is the call to rudely preach at people rather than letting them see Christ in you by your works of mercy and charity, then you have not shared the gospel with anyone. You make God out to be a monster - no wonder no one wants to hear you talk about God. Your God cannot be trusted in because you worship an idol that is in your mind.

Christ's own disciples complained about the fact that he ate with sinners.

In Mark 2, soon after calling Matthew to follow Him, Jesus ate a meal with “many publicans and sinners” in Matthew’s house (verse 15). Matthew had been a tax collector (publican), and these were his friends and acquaintances who were now spending time with Jesus (cf. Luke 5:39). The scribes and the Pharisees complained, but Jesus’ actions in spending time with sinners transcended His culture and actually should define Christian culture as we know it.

In Jesus’ day, rabbis and other spiritual leaders were the highest members of Jewish society. Everyone looked up to the Pharisees. They were strict adherents to the Law and tradition, and they avoided those whom they deemed “sinners” because they had a “clean” image to maintain. Tax collectors, infamous for embezzlement and their cooperation with the hated Romans, definitely fell into the “sinner” category.

Let’s look at that passage.

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin[b] for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

It does not apply to everyone automatically. That’s why Paul (and Jesus) tells us to share the good news. Want further proof? Read Jesus’ words in John 3. Without belief (faith), one remains under condemnation. Hence, the need to warn people.

I am referring to her post:

Quote:
it's all good, cuz God tortured and killed his son with an agonizing slow death so we
are all saved now...we are washed on his blooooood."
If that is all she has to offer, then she is right, it is best to say nothing as opposed to that.

Sure, and guess what? He shared the Gospel with them. He was not ashamed to talk about it, or afraid of offending them with the truth.

Of course we all know that in the end they were offended to a point where they murdered Him, and after Him, they murdered His disciples in various countries.

Oh give over, the only thing Jesus ever said that offended was when he was talking about eating his flesh and drinking his blood, even his own disciples, were like what the heck when he said this, if you were present there when he said you too would have had you knickers in a twist There is nothing offensive about the good news at all, if it was offensive it would not be good news. You should listen to what you are saying The good news has got nothing to do with us being fallen short of the glory of God and having to believe something to escape that myth of eternal hell you believe in, but everything to do with one who never did fall short of that glory who demonstrated God's heart towards us perfectly and in seeing you are loved in such manner, can be all that God intended us to be....... Living by his glory.
