I thought the same thing, Pleroo...I don't condemn people and you didn't.
Condemn is not a word that comes out of me. Nor punishable or hell or wrath..my gosh.
But, that is how it is perceived...as condemnation.
It's the old... 'My wife is always putting me down'...why?

What he hears is distorted ..."You're so stupid and forgetful and lazy ..."
All she said was, 'It's Tues rem to take out the garbage.'
Because staying your mind on God involves considering, and more importantly being still to hear the still small voice that bible dwellers reject and dare not trust. It is new age nonsense to the like of xupia, unless of course it is stayed on the bible. Another example of God being a bible to them.

if the day of the Lord looks like anything close to my and my sisters dreams.. can you then stay in perfect peace?
When you read the scriptures by the letter and not the Spirit this is what happens. I would advise set you mind on things above instead, take a vacation from the bible, watch Laurel and Hardy solid for a week or two, don't go church for a month and don't answer your phone if it is your christian friends calling you.

Yes, that is a good point. The more we practice, the more our minds are open to the "mind of Christ" and to receiving the thoughts which bring peace.
