Jesus said nobody can serve two masters because you'll cling to one and hate the other. Therefore, the Bible is hated because people love their idols instead; anything placed above God, and God is His Word, is an idol, which includes your counterfeit love doctrine.
Who are you hating, when you think of eternal damnation? And, who or what are you idolizing?

True. Many time this love seems to be only for the sinners, but rarely for those who speaks against sin. Love is also for the sinner, but mostly and first it should be for brothers in Christ who are here against sin, who give them selves to as a target to the world by proclaiming God's values witch world don't know and mostly despise.
And what they get from the other christian's? More despise, but the sinners seems to be remembered with plenty love.

Counterfeit love...um, would be fake love...phony love...that bogles the mind.

An example.. Many see the Creator Father God as pure unconditional Love...someone else sees that also, but
with a twist...that He is a punishing, torturing, Father that sends any bratty children to an
eternal fiery lake.
Then, turns it on someone else, that WE have the phoney-fake love.

It appears, you are fitting into this stereotype and fulfilling the Scriptures as you condemn others.
