There is nothing noble or honorable in deceit. I hope that all who seek Truth can screen and filter the heretical nonsense from the actual Word of the Lord.
That's because you are under the veil of deception, and you are correct there is nothing noble about it.

The stories repeating themselves over and over tell the truth....

And in the ongoing result of that action; desires (wants, wills) ALL men to be saved and come to the knowledge of truth. The action is indicative. Nowhere is it subjunctive, or that of being contingent or probable, nor imperative on the subjectís response. Neither is it Optative, as in being unlikely or wishful thinking that mankind might come to this salvation and knowledge.

The OP point was that it can't be trusted, so you might as well scrap that belief.

The belief that needs to be scraped is that of eternal damnation which is not a reflection of God.

The point of the OP that you are missing is that there ARE other authorities that CAN be trusted if you have access to the one Jesus promised.

Youy only lose if the Bible is what you trust.

I quoted the post I was referring to, and bolded the word "Bible". Sven is talking about the bible, not other sources. The Bible. The OP claims the Bible is not reliable, so Sven can stop trying to use it to support his views.

What gives you that idea? Define "Bible".

Also i already posted this earlier in this thread:

After reading the OP, please explain in your own words how it would argue that the first of these English language "opinions" (often called "translations" rather than "opinions" of men) of the ancient Koine Greek "Scriptures" is unfaithful & misleading and the second is not in its rendering of the Greek word aionion:

Matthew 25:46

And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
King James Version (KJV)

And these shall be coming away into chastening eonian, yet the just into life eonian.
Concordant Literal New Testament (CLV)

Nice dodge "head in the sand" trick.

I'll be back by tomorrow, perhaps. I wonder if you'll have answered my two questions by then.
