So what you are saying, "if you hear his voice" at night it doesn't count?

Mar 15:42 And now when the even was come, because it was the preparation, that is, the day before the sabbath,

So if the 14th is the Day that Jesus was crucified and the sabbath were from sunset to sunset, then how can the above be true?

First, before any discussion, who said the Lord Jesus was crucified on the 14th?.

According to the Passover requirements in Leviticus chapter 23.

Lev 23:5 In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD'S passover.

Try to get your mind in gear instead of spinning on your topic: it was coming on toward sunset on the "day of preparation" BEFORE the Sabbath, and they wanted to get the body taken care of as much as possible before the Sabbath actually started. Then on the day AFTER the Sabbath when there was light to see, the woumen went to do the other necessary things. Capice?

Seriously? How far off could you possibly be? The Jews would not have openly revolted at a crucifixion on their most holy day?

Here is the verse:

Mar 15:42 And now when the even was come, because it was the preparation, that is, the day before the sabbath,

Where in that verse does it say that sunset was "coming on"?

The Greek word translated for "come" is in the second aorist tense.

Additionally, the woman wouldn't be able to go do the other "necessary" things because that would be the sabbath day (no work can be done).

According to the Priests, they said they didn't want to crucify Him during the Feast. They didn't mention the Passover. Turns out that they did indeed have Him crucified on Passover by the hands of the Romans.

Mat 26:3 Then assembled together the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, unto the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas,
Mat 26:4 And consulted that they might take Jesus by subtilty, and kill him.
Mat 26:5 But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar among the people.

Now if Jesus is our Sabbath and He is Light, and those that follow Him are walking in that Light then how can the type 'weekly Sabbath' contain darkness?

John 1:4 "In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

Darkness is Ignorance, (lack of Knowledge). Light is Knowledge and Understanding.

1 John 1:5 "This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

1 John 1:6 "If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

1 John 1:7 "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
