Ah, I don't know why I thought so.

I always loved Halloween when my daughter was growing up, and a friend of mine threw a "Witches and B*****s" party one autumn afternoon for all her women friends. She decorated her house and yard and we all brought food. A pointy hat was required attire.

According to some, Christmas was originally celebrated outdoors, under a natural tree. And the gifts/food was given to the poor. Later on, people went indoors and somewhat forgot about the poor.

Didn't know I was ragging or bashing...I saw similarities in the customs, but it's your way that matters most...carry on.

I would get bullied on Halloween, I just refused to see all the blood and guts and my friends just bullied me because I would not follow them on frog night....It was a bit much for me, I mean just finding the frogs was hard enough, but then to see the look on those poor people's faces, it was more than I could take, my frog killing terrorizing days of Halloween had come to an end, an end of a frog killer. I swear, the things my friends wanted to do was intolerable, you knock on the door, they open the door with a rain of frogs slapping up against their walls at 60 miles per hour, just flat out mean.
