Our Father in heaven,
may your name be kept holy.
May your Kingdom come soon.
May your will be done on earth,
as it is in heaven.
Give us today the food we need,
and forgive us our sins,
as we have forgiven those who sin against us.
And don't let us yield to temptation,
but rescue us from the evil one.
The Lord’s Prayer in modern translation.
Do we...
Do we keep His name holy in today’s worship centers (or forums)? Do we wish for Lord’s justice and rule rather than our own? Do we pray and ask for forgiveness? Do we hold grudges? Do we recognize that there is evil and we need to be saved?
Sadly, the typical worship center is drifting farther and farther way from the Lord’s will
well, that could (and likely should) be the question that every Christian regardless of particular denomination, church, or "worship center" asks themselves individually and collectively EVERY day---are we being grateful, loving, and forgiving in thought, word, and deed to others even as God in Christ through the Holy Spirit has loved and forgiven us? in the peace of Christ.

1 Peter
14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:
15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

Forums? God is being called a monster here (quote: "wrathful, vengeful, murderous monster they read so much about in the OT"). Not sure what worship centers you are referring to, but surely there is a wide range, but I doubt there are many which would call God a monster.

Good to hear you do not believe God is wrathful, vengeful and murderous.

Indeed, I was beginning to think he had created a monster in his own image, it's all he talks about.
