Its a judgement of God , where Jesus took our sins as we were before condemned to die in our sins .... So then we are married to God through out eternity , and God has a purpose for people He is in covenant with ......... Would you marry some one who ignored you and did not love you and rebelled against you

Would you torture them for 5 minutes never mind a christian eternity if they did?. Could you also not blame them for rebelling if they knew you thought that way?.

A Calvinist site says "...eternity in hell [is] the just punishment for sin, no matter how long one’s earthly life lasted." https://www.gotquestions.org/eternity-hell-just.html

What troubles me is the apathy of the 'saved' toward the 'lost'. Eternity is a long time. Wouldn't a mechanic fix his car rather than set it on fire? But they won't listen to reason..this talk of an all-forgiving God is of the devil they say.

Not everyone is apathetic. My church sees several people saved and baptized every week.

Again, unbelievers ridiculing and mocking the Lord. They point out in the Scriptures things that they consider immoral such as hell. Yet, they ignore the parts about God being Righteous, holy, and perfect. Do they not see their posts are illogical and contradictory?

No, SumTingy, they are not ignored. What is disputed is the illogical conclusion that God would not work to make the needed changes rather than leave offenders to suffer without a chance of change.

You have been told this, so what is actually being ignored is the stated position of the people you are accusing.

Just another thread asking us something that only God would know.

Leave the judgement and resolution stuff to God.

You cannot commingle love with hate, that's a contradiction.

What is it, precisely, that people are being saved from, Jimmie? Are they being saved from a tyrannical and sadistic God who in His love for humanity created a place of eternal torment for those who are NOT 'saved'?

Are you quoting someone, or are you just trying to make it sound like it is someone elses view?
