Who wrote that? Because it wasn't Jesus.

But it is the self-righteousness of fundamentalists who wear an improper garment.
The parable does not twist anything, it it a teaching of Jesus Christ. Why does it offend you to a point where you'd have to resort to a personal attack?

He taught the parable of the wedding feast, and many other parables, which you probably find equally offending. He taught people so they would know the full story. That's the whole point. There is a reason He didn't come here only to say only "love god and each other", and then turn around and walk away. He told the parables to show how you love God, and what people do when they do not love God. He also explained the consequences of loving and not loving God.

I started a thread on the parable of the wedding feast and none of the usual suspects showed up. Obviously, Jesus blows a huge hole in Universalism.

It is just one of the many holes.

You wouldn’t respond to me so why should I bother. You Finn Jarber and Bap Fun obviously think this parable is taking place in heaven. If that is true how do the geezer with the wrong clothes get in there, when you all believe you can’t go to heaven unless you believe in Jesus. This kind of shallow believing is an embarrassment to the way that Jesus taught.

It would actually be interesting to know who, if anyone, Jimmie does not have on ignore of the people he considers “the usual suspects”.

Apparently, there are certain fundamentalists who like to lie and twist the truth.
You should read it again, as your statement of no one showed up is a lie.

And, your ignorance about the reconciliation of ALL things is utterly amazing?

What is the meaning of the Parable of the Wedding Feast?"

He pretends to have more on his ignore list than what is actually there, but that is what deceivers do.

Then, he must have been talking about the fundamentalist who doesn't believe that love is first and foremost in any relationship. You know, those that are on his left who do the cursing, while those on his right are entering the narrow gate.
