Anyone prefer an empty cross over crucifix in their church buildings? (crucified, churches)

I would rather use a cross without Jesus on it in a church building because crucifixes can be an idol. However I am fine of using one as a decoration. Though i can understand why some churches use a crucifix in their churches which reminds them of Jesus' suffering and death on the cross but at the same time if it is worshipped then it becomes an idol

Either one is alright by me , as the crucifix with the cadaver of Jesus Christ show the basic foundation of Christianity were Jesus was lynched by people of sin , which shows God judgment , where Jesus crucified is the lone Judgment for grace for all blessing , as God judgment comes with understanding that sin must be put down as God is Holy ................. Then the empty cross show the risen Lord who poured out His soul on to death , and overcome death..... .... All and all I am not a Catholic but I did overcome the spirit of divisions through the grace of God

No.
It’s only an idol if it’s worshiped.
I don’t know anybody who worships a cross or crucifix.
