Growing up in Texas, and traveling to other places, I have met a handful of Christians who say that they would in fact love to live under a theocracy. But when questioned further, it is evident that their idea of a theocracy means that everyone would live under THEIR interpretation of what a theocracy is. They would not, being a southern baptist, for example, accept a catholic theocracy. But being members of Hill-Top Baptist Church, for example, they would accept a theocracy with themselves ruling and speaking for God, but not allowing First Baptist or South-side Baptist to have a say in it.

Kind of like the Puritans of New England. They were tired of being repressed, so they moved someplace where they could repress others.
Ok for the select few, but for the MAJORITY who DOES NOT BELIEVE, it is unacceptable.

Yeah that is what Adam thought, he chose Democracy over God's rule. That has not been a good choice. Oh since Satan was involved the term should be Demonocracy.

Again, when defining theocratic rule, you have to determine which God you're talking about. So theocratic rule be okay as long as it lines up with one's own interpretation of what that should be.

Do you spend your days on here arguing with Christ-followers because you're hoping to start the next great apologetics tour and you're stockpiling material, or do you just like furthering your own self-condemnation for the day of judgment?

LOL. Ooooooo...your big, scary god-thing is gonna get me because I don't believe it resides within a collection of old pamphlets.

I find the modern-day definition of theocratic rule is rule by clergy or clergy class.
Whereas, the theocracy of Daniel 2:44 is God Rule.
Since Jesus is King of God's Kingdom, then Jesus follows his God's theocratic arrangement.
So, that lines up with Jesus' interpretation of what theocracy should be.
I suppose that is why such biblical theocracy is about the good news about God's kingdom of Matthew 24:14.
