see, you have no understanding that the Lord Jesus is ..... the First Conforter who came in "FLESH", and returned in Spirit without flesh, meaning he's the "ANOTHER" Comforter without flesh.... (smile).. LOL.

see, another is the Greek word G243 ALLOS, listen, Allos expresses a numerical difference and denotes another of the same sort. "SAME "SORT".

you have no clue, do you...... (smile).... LOL.

You still do not seem to understand that all the NT epistles were written AFTER Pentecost, after Jesus came as another comforter (which no one esp. me is even arguing against - duh!). Those writings say his return is soon, near, at the door, etc. You have done nothing to counter what I shown in this regard. Thus the second coming is not about the day of Pentecost or a Spiritual coming. Get a clue!

As Jesus said, when he comes again, the world will be like the coming of the flood. Just an ordinary day. But we also know that there were only a few true believers. Other destructions that God brought were similar, like Sodom and Gemorrah, very few believers. So, I believe it will be the same when the last day comes, very few believers. We arent there yet. There are still many othodox believers, and a vibrant evangelism effort. So no, I dont think we're there yet.

First thanks for the response.
Second, this is not for you. I don't want you to hurt yourself... ok.
now,
2 Peter 3:8 "But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

2 Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance".0

see these scriptures, your mind is not ready for this. so leave it alone.

these scripturese might have been written after pentecost but the contents of these epistles, tell us what happen before Pentecost.

GINOLJC, to all.

to Shiloh1, Just like you couldn't see speaking in tongues in Joel, neither can you see who poured out his Spirit on Pentecost.

I'll give another chance to be weaned from the breast. this is on topice, because it was the Lord Jesus who returned on Pentecost, which will prove the two fold return that you cannot physically see....

question, on the day of Pentecost, who spirit or Spirit was poured out according to Joel 2:28 & 29?

Listen carefully, Joel 2:28 "And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

Joel 2:29 "And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

NOTE: did you see how the (KJV) used the small "s" in Spirit. my, my, My, that KJV is something else, it puts the answer right in front of your face.

NOW, Was it the one whom you calls the father? or was it the one whom you calls the Son? who Poured out "his" spirit? on pentecost. remember, the apostle Peter said this. Acts 2:16 "But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel". I'll be looking for your answer.

once you answer, we will then see the NEW TESTAMENT "PASTOR" right in Joel 2:28 & 29, yes all this OT stuff, is revealed in the NT. ........ (smile).

augiedogie, since we are at the ' final phase' of Matthew 24:14; Acts 1:8, then that means we are nearing the ' final signal ' so to speak, found at 1st Thess. 5:2-3 when ' they ' ( the powers that be ) will be saying, "Peace and Security..." as the precursor to the coming great tribulation of Revelation 7:14, before Jesus, as Prince of Peace, ushers in global Peace on Earth among persons of goodwill.

Also, we 'are getting there' because ' religious waters ' meaning religious people are drying up spiritually.
They have a form of godly devotion but prove false .

Heb 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation".

this is not for none believers ..... (smile).

When did the Comforter appear the First time? this is for thoses who have eyes and ears to see and hear....... (smile).

the Conforter, Jesus, his first "APPERANCE" in the world.

Scripture, Luke 2:25 And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.

Luke 2:26 And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ.

the term "consolation" is the key to our understanding, it is the Greek word,
G3874 παράκλησις paraklesis (pa-ra'-klee-sis) n.
1. an imploration, entreaty (urgent request (for mercy or help)).
2. an exhortation (urgent counsel, encouragement, or caution).
3. a comfort, solace.
[from G3870]
KJV: comfort, consolation, exhortation, intreaty
Root(s): G3870

definition #2 & 3. counsel, and a comfort.

a Counsel, in the legal arena is better now as an "advocate". and one who gives counsel is called a Counsellor like in Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace".

and one who gives "Comfort" is called a "COMFORTER", or is know as an intercessor. like in,

1John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

and the term advocate is the Greek word,
G3875 παράκλητος parakletos (pa-ra'-klee-tos) n.
1. (properly) one called near (to give help).
2. an intercessor (one who entreats of behalf of another).
3. a comforter.
[(not given)]
KJV: advocate, comforter

Notice definition #2 & 3. my God this is too easy....

God, the Holy Spitiy, is JESUS our intercessor, Comforter, and advocate. it can't get any plainer.

One night want to re-read this for clarity
