People give God a bad name. Jesus is also frequently misrepresented. But personal responsibility and accuracy of shared information is not a priority to many these days.

I wish we could seriously explore this topic further to learn the fundamentals of this paradigm.

From Christians and the Bible. They're not describing MY Dad!
If your dad supports slavery and orders the execution of children and babies, he's going to get a bad name. If Santa Claus supported slavery and ordered the execution of children and babies, he would get a bad name.
And rightly so. Neither Moderator cut: not permitted on Christianity forum or Santa are real though. So that let's them off the hook.

People in Jesus' day probably thought He misrepresented God as well.

Your "teachings of men, influenced by Satan"/devil (Matthew 13:39) is the tare seed, planted in the same field/NT (Matthew 13:24-25) along side the "good seed", the "word of the kingdom" (Matthew 13:19). The tares will be protected until the "end of the age" (Matthew 13:30 & 39). We are now at the "end of the age" and "those who commit lawlessness", and the "stumbling blocks" are now to be removed, and "cast into the furnace of fire" (Matthew 13:42).

Gosh....will you EVER stop equating me with the Bible or the Bible God?

Have a notebook by your PC: "-Miss H is not a Christian...
-does not advocate the Bible...
-likes Jesus, tho and some nice, loving parts of the Bible."

This is basic "Memory back-up techniques"...."Writing things down!"
Please, stop pulling ME into your rants.

Start a thread on, "Father, Mother, Brother, Friend, Lover: What is this God?"

As I said He is all of it to me at diff times. He has revealed to me He is Friend...(male) and lover of my soul....
and also Father, Protector...proud of me like a Dad.
The feminine Mother aspect only came through one time....but wow....it was quite, lovingly profound!!!!

How do you know it's a HE? Because of the Bible?
