“While Catholic theologians, especially Augustine, thundered against Origenism, as it was called, universal salvation continued to have its advocates in their church as well as in other religious organizations that claimed to be Christian. It was taught by the Albigenses of the eleventh century, the Lollards of the fourteenth, and in the fifteenth century by many of “the Reformers before the Reformation.” Many were the clergy excommunicated, exiled or dismissed from their positions by religious organizations because of teaching universal salvation, in both Catholic and Protestant organizations.”

“In England, for a time during the seventeenth century, universal salvation was among the heresies punishable with imprisonment, other “heresies” being punished with death. About the same time in the United States, in the very religious colony of Massachusetts, one John Gatchell was sentenced “to the pillory and to have his tongue drawn forth and pierced with a hot iron” for teaching universal salvation.”

There was a falling away in the 14the century which also was a time 666 years plus 666 since the cross of Jesus at 1332 AD was around the time of the black plague which killed third of the people in Europe which shows people turning away from Christ through the influence of the devil could do in these Middle Ages

Goose stepping is preferable to burning at the stake?

Okay, so different people and groups running around with their own agendas? Nothing earth-shattering there. We see that same stuff in modern times.

Regardless... scripture carries on, God continues on, life continues on.

Dwell in the valley of foolish humanity and people running around like chickens with their heads cut off, or rise above it all and soar freely. You're choice.

Dear Clement: What a ghastly thought that the Father known intimately as Abba will actually restore every last broken creature of His back into fellowship. Surely the most rotten of our species will escape such a fate!

"Through the disobedience of one (Adam1), the polus "were made sinners"

SO

through the obedience of One (the Last Adam ) the polus are "made righteous."

The mass made sinners is the same mass made righteous! Every last transgressor of a Holy God.

He is the Source, the Guide, & the Goal of the all (the ta panta)

yup, its not about the best descriptors of how the universe works. Its about pushing statement about god. Or, for some, about pushing "deny any statement "I" don't like."

Why don't you try saying something that is edifying or uplifting.
Using the naked truth, your bare assertions are meaningless.
