Heart is heart...ego is ego.
I meant "love" in all the senses of the word, not the narrow and straight way. Love in the sense of "ego," "romantic love," "paternal love," "maternal love," and "insecurities" were included, not merely the Loving Kindness.

You said, "Love does harm others, it's called jealousy and wrath." I still don't get it...but that's ok...long day.

People who love will often equate their jealousy and wrath as part and parcel of that love.

Well, yea, that is the jist of it...when hitler killed millions of people, tortured, gassed, experimented on them...sure that would be pure evil in our opinion...but its different with God, as he is the original creator of EVERYTHING, it would be impossible for us to grasp that type of perception.

Is it 'evil' when God permits bad things to happen, like a strong earthquake in a heavily populated area, think about all the kids who are killed by falling debris! Is it 'evil' when kids or anyone is ravished by disease, and they suffer and die? NO ,these things are not evil in Gods view, its an entirely different perception than ours.

Don't blame God for that. Your understanding of my ways are not your ways and my thoughts are not your thoughts are completed messed up. I will tell you what is impossible to grasp, a christian that believes God is capable of commiting such atrocities. Our ways are and thoughts should line up with God's, that is the jist of that verse, that is easily accomplished by being spiritually minded. Being spiritual minded so that our ways and thoughts are like God's we would never entertain a thought you credit to God or commit a way that is contrary to the nature and character of God.

OH! Now I see what the heck you meant. Of course, we could also say tying them up in a
closet,'for their own good', could be another way sickos equate love.
My mind just took awhile to get what you were saying.

rstevens, I get what you are trying to say.
I have known this forever...that what looks evil to us from God's Eternal perspective is quite different.
It also helps to know from 'His Side', ha, that anyone that dies here is welcomed Home
on the Other Side and all their pain is gone....and they are reunited with loved ones and all their pets....
free from this place finally!!
