You make it sound like Buddha outright preached against Jesus, when that's, well, impossible, because Buddha lived long before Jesus's time.

The man was peaceful, kind, and promoted tranquility among all. He was not an evil guy. He was born a prince and gave up EVERYTHING to learn true knowledge and peace. Why would your loving and merciful God turn him away from Heaven?

You have an interesting thought there blue! It is a fact that Jesus led captivity captive, that He descended into hell. Why? Well, one theory (which I neither support nor deny) is that he preached the gospel to those who were dead, captives in hell, who had died BEFORE salvation through Christ was possible. How many believed and ascended with Him, when he left hell after 3 days? Who knows...that's all conjecture...but none of us will likely have that same chance after death, because most of us have heard the gospel. We have to decide NOW whether we will follow Him, or not.
Will those who die today, having NEVER heard the gospel while alive, have this same chance? I don't know, but it's an interesting theory...
If anyone has ever heard the gospel, then the answer is no! Play it safe: get saved NOW!

Ephesians 4:
8Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
9(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?

And what is in the lower parts of the earth? Hell...a place of torment and captivity...nobody escapes there. The ONLY ones I have ever heard of come back out of there were all Christians, on special escorted tour by Jesus. Why? In order that they may tell the rest of us that hell is real, what it is like, and NOT to go there!...

All the above presented as theory only...it's not neccessarily my opinion...

Bud

For example, you could help the local police solve crimes. Go talk to them. Tell them you only want to help.
Wrath? What wrath doth thou expect? As I have said I do not expect nor want kindly worship, nor would I send thou to oblivion for questioning thine creator!- however much God would like to do so; he's quite an angry god, merciful, but angry nonetheless.

Ofcourse I understand the plight of mortals, as I am currently in the form of one; as frequently I do. I do not view myself as higher or better than thou, rather I view thou not more or less than an equal. I enjoy greatly the capacity for knowledge and understanding that you have obtained and even though I wittnessed it and proclaimed its occurence with my own eyes, it is still greatly enjoyable.

The world does need my help, but unlike God I do not enjoy in the meddling of human troubles. It is not beyond your species to overcome your pathetic troubles and not but on the threshhold of your absolute destruction shall I throw out my hand to shield and guide.

You address me in jest. Authority is as authority does and will find my presence a threat to their control. Upon which they will subject me to various psychological tests and when I do not fold they will hold me in an institution for several days. Thus, under the guise of insanity they dismiss their god as a schizophrenic.

Alas!- Corking... I know of these visions in full clarity and find them hysterical for several reasons. A) God and Jesus have a wager running on how many mortals they can present themselves to and how many of them speak fervently about it. Needless to say, Jesus is winning by 234,651.635. How point 635?- those who take their own lives because of the visions, or lead cults, or alas, go insane from them do not count as whole numbers. As of late Corking, if you keep your sanity, you are to increase his lead to 235,342.847!!!

And B) because Jesus is a tad vain because of your beautiful portraits of him; that and his increasing arrogance from besting his father. Ahhh, what a wonderful grandson he is!

Mr. Panda, Yes I was somewhat jestting with you in my last post, but was also hoping that you would get out and talk with folks a bit. If we sit too much at the computer, it's not good even for the best of us. Also, it helps sometimes to hear what others think about us.

You present yourself as some sort of a mystical god. I completly fail to see what that has to do with Christianity. You obviously have a degree of human intelligence. But human intelligence is foolishness to GOD. In fact, when I was able to admit to GOD my own stupidity, and recognize that only He is wise, then He began to teach me the Truth, in a way that utterly has amazed me.

Well, I'll not go on and on about things, but please ask the only true and living GOD to give you wisdom from Him. Best wishes.

Hi, I believe that this is indicative of the Lord's intention for all. He is to fill all things. There is also a indication in 1 Peter 4:6, I believe:

"For the gospel has for this purpose been preached even to those who are dead, that though they are dead, that though they are judged in the flesh as men, they may live in the spirit according to the will of God."

God bless.

I guess Buddha's down in Hell hanging out with Gandhi and John Lennon.
I've been searching a long time...Pastafarian. Makes sense to me.
