I have witnessed many ( well more than a few) death bed last rights, mostly they are comatose. I feel honored to be in the presenct of this. I personally feel God gives everyone a chance to accept Jesus up to the very last breath !
I understand where corking is coming from, but I believe God is Just and Loving, wishing no one to perish....
who am I to say the Last Rights is not His way for that person at that moment....
Last rites is not salvation. Read the New Testament.
IMO, this thread has turned into insults, inuendos, name calling, judgements and false statements about the Catholics, and other good folks on this forum who are as much Christian as any other of the many different denominations in Christianity..There is a right way and a wrong way to hold a debate..It should never turn into what this one and the other one has..
Bravo, Blue! A person who is truly invested in the Love that Jesus Christ espoused has no place in denigrating anyone....no matter what they believe. It just wasn't what he was all about! Read his 2 laws.....LOVE one ANOTHER as Ye would Love Yourself (ehem....nuff said!!)
you dont need to cry--you should find people who have lost their faith instead of preying on people who believe--just in a different way
It doesn't matter if you believe. You MUST believe the TRUTH...Gods word! If you are going against the word of God you are NOt trly believing. Even the Jews believe Jesus existed. The believe, Yet they don't believe the truth about him..his word. Aree they saved if they reject Christ? NO!

In my ministry I bring people "out of her" (The Catholic church) and into BIBLE believeing/BIBLE following churches and they come back to me telling me with joy about their new relationship with Jesus Christ. The TRUTH must go out!

i know the catholic church has many faults and i know that i myself have had many questions. it doesnt chamge the fact that it is my tradition and that i love it. it has no bearing on how i feel about God, it changes nothing about my relationship with Him.

PLEASE start reading the New Testament and you will see the LIES of the Catholic church..bowing to statues (Idolotry) Praying to Mary (Jesus said ONLY to pray to God) Purgatory...TOTALLY made up" Mary a virgin...Uh...According to the bible she had intercourse with Joseph and had other children! Please read the bible and find a BIBLE believing BIBlE following church. The church I go to is not corrupt like the Catholc church. We FOLLOW the bible, not go against it!
It provides nothing more than same half truths regarding Catholic teaching.

Another thing. If you were saved, you would understand the Catholic church is against scripture and you would ALSO be helping people come to Christ. You need to get saved and READ the New Testament and also try and get people out of the Catholic cult where they have been DECEIVED!
I might be. However, it doesn't take away from the fact that the author used what the Southern Poverty Law Center labled as a "hate group" to publish his book.
So by my own "crazy" reasoning I have to assume one of the following:
1. The author knew Chick Publishing was hateful but "sold out" because he couldn't find anyone else to print his.. hmmm.. aaahemm.. "works"
or
2. The author knew Chick Publishing was hateful and chose them to be his publisher because of that.
Either way. Big fat diaper filled with doodie. Just like I said before.
