Is titheing Christian?

Well sanspeur I also think God expects us to be wise with our money. I am very careful and check things out carefully before I give. I sure don't want to throw God's money away. I want it to multiply in the kingdom.

I believe in giving but I don't believe in tithing.

I believe that we should give in secret.There shouldn't be any talk of "I tithe, I tithe, Why don't you tithe?". - Matthew 6:1-4

I believe that we should give what we truly WANT to give, not because we feel pressured to give.We should not give not because we are afraid of being punished or being labeled as a "bad Christian"- 2 Corinthians 9:7

I believe we should give what we truly can afford. -2 Corinthians 8:12

Above all I believe that all believers should go to God with their concerns and see what He says as opposed to
looking for a human to support or refute their beliefs.-James 1:5

Of course it is God's money. Our life is a gift from God. I guess I believe everything that comes in and out of my life is in God's plan. I have the faith of a child... but did some Seminary work also.
