perhaps the "mark" will be the equivelent of your email address or your computer's URL address., I could see in the future that you will absolutely have to have an email account. As stated earlier, if its true, the mark would be something you will need to have to buy, sell, etc etc and not think twice about. If gas prices continue to soar, more people will opt to have groceries and other goods shiped to them. I coud see how in the future everyone would be tied in to the "grid" through their computer and those without would not be able to obtain goods and services. It will take awhile for all homes all around the world to be hooked up, but it will eventually be like the telephone. I know this doesn't mesh with the literal bible version of hand or forehead, but one day our bodies may somehow have a version of a computer inbedded via a chip of some sort. The RFD tag is probably the begining, but right now they are used for tracking, so it could very well be a future evolution of the RFD tag. I don't think most people will be aware when it happens until its too late. We are very accepting of technology to make our lives easier. Just a thought
Finally, a topic response. This is a very interesting theory. I hadn't made the connection with computers, but anything is possible. It could very well be a combination of technologies since we do love our conveniences like you said. Thanks for your input!
If all are not saved, then the free gift of Christ is in vain.
godspeed,
freedom
All will not be saved because not everyone will accept the gift that Christ offers, but for the ones that do, it is not in vain. He would have died if it was just you or just me who believed. (but I think we're getting off topic here).

Funny, I thought you already knew that. You ask Jesus to become your Savior and ask Him to forgive you of your sins. You begin a relationship with Him that grows deeper and stronger everyday as you understand His Word more as you study it. But not everyone is going to do this. It starts with believing.

What part of you must believe and ask Jesus into your life to be saved are you not understanding? Yes, Christ died for all....but all are not accepting Him. He died so that we could be saved from our sins, and it is a free gift to all who accept Him as the Son of God who died on the cross and arose from the dead. But to deny that means NO salvation. You have been taught tolerance, and that is not a Christian's job.
You pacify and say "Oh, it's okay, don't worry about being an axe murderer or child molester because eventually your punishment in hell will be over and you can be in heaven with the rest of us". That is not what the Bible says, and you know it. That is man made tolerance garbage so as not to offend. You are literally telling people to reject Christ because it doesn't matter anyway. You are the one saying He died in vain. That, my friend, will land you in the same place as those you are so quick to pacify and tolerate.

The bold type is not in scripture, where do you get that?

I do know that, but you left out the repentence part, is there no mercy in repentence. No forgiveness in Christ?

I would never tell anyone to reject Christ, and I never said Jesus died in vain.
No, it is so simple even a child can understand it.
Then why are children abandoning man's church?
