2 Corithians 3:2-3
"You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everybody...written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts."
The Bible, Paul described Christians as living letters known and read by everybody, not written with ink, but with the Sprit of God on human hearts. (2 Corinthians 3:3).
God did not write His letters on fragile sheets of paper or on tablets of stone. He wrote His letters on human hearts for the entire world to read. God has sent many letters our way.... hand delivered, special delivery, postage paid.
Here is a daunting thought. You are a letter. I am a letter. God has written His message on our hearts and mailed us out to the world. People read His letters in our actions. They read His letters in our words. What will they read in your letter? Will they welcome the words, or view it a junk mail to be tossed in the trash. Will they dread the words like a bill that needs to be paid, or will they see it as God intended... a love letter wooing them to Christ.
Since we are a living letter, how do you want your letter to read?

Thank you for your humble encouragement, curly! What a responsibility we have... When we are humbly and sincerely following God and heeding the Holy Spirit, our letter will be a drawing. Not that everyone who reads it will come to Jesus or even appreciate the message on the letter, but God can use His servant.
I hope that I'm not the letter that has "return to sender, address unknown" marked
or find my letter in the "junk mail" pile;
Good thread; curly
because people around us are reading our mail" at all times

"Been there, done that... Found the truth, won't go back!"....
Great thread, curly.
Wouldn't it be nice if every day when people came to the Christianity Forum they found lots of similar, encouraging threads - like the ones we have today???
Just imagine if someone who was hurting clicked on good news...

Good post WC
The awesome things about our mail.... junk or priority or first-class or COD - it's all postage-paid!
Once again, I stand Wholly, and Holy Convicted And, it feels good.
Hi "Gaus"!
Yep, postage paid. Our words are very important, especially on this forum. I've received some very encouraging words from other Christian posters speaking of the miraculous ways that this forum is touching lives. When you think of the gravity of the words you type going around the globe, it's mind boggling. These ARE our letters, and they are being read by thousands!! Let's remember that, (myself included) when we are tempted to debate unnecessary things.
And Gaus, I think I know your situation right now, so that's another reason I wanted to quote your post. I'm praying for you....don't give up!!
Your sister in Christ.
