If a woman is raped and is the pregnant, she must not abort it as horrible as that may seem. The unborn child shouldn't be punished for it's father's evil actions. In worst case scenario the child can be adopted to a couple who are having trouble having a baby naturally.
In the USA over 160,000 children await adoption. Legally free for adoption waiting. They grow to adulthood being bounced between foster homes.
I have been a foster parent, and I have adopted.
Now each year there are many people who do adopt. However in the US there exist far too many children, and not enough families.
What i am saying is that how can society easy murder babies who cannot talk for themselves and let the medical staff, mother/father who are responsible for this cold blooded murder be set free into the world 'playing God' with helpess unborn children.
If you take the life of someone who can't possibly ever defend themselves... under normal circumstances that should equal the death penalty (in our society)... and in truth it does... the act of sin = the loss of our eternal life.
Because in the Old Testament Law God said that a man who causes a pregnant woman's fetus mischief [to be still born] that man is to pay a small fine. He committed a trespass against the husband of the woman. He did not commit a sin against God.

That's the Old Testment meant for the Jews of that time. Does not apply to us today
Respect for life requires punishing those who fail to respect life.
The Bible even makes it clear that the judicial system should provide "an eye for an eye."
Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also. And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain. Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away. Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

This passage does not contradict the Law as set forth in Exodus. Jesus was saying that vengeance is wrong. The passage in Exodus is about a system of justice, not vengeance. Christ spoke to those who interpreted "eye for eye" as a call for vengeance.
Jesus did not teach us to be anarchists, his words were above politics.
In the Old Testament, abortion was okay and not a sin. During the time of Laws, it was okay and not a sin.
Yet today during the time of grace, it is a sin.
Okay
When said, abortion ever been ok? I was stating that if you are going to use scipture, you can't pull old testament especially from the Law of Moses unless it is shown in the New Testament.
Exodus 21:22-25
prescribes the same penalty for someone who causes the death of a baby in the womb as the penalty for someone who commits murder.
New American Standard Bible
22"If men struggle with each other and strike a woman with child so that she gives birth prematurely, yet there is no injury, he shall surely be fined as the woman's husband may demand of him, and he shall (A)pay as the judges decide.
23"But if there is any further injury, (B)then you shall appoint as a penalty life for life, 24(C)eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, 25burn for burn, wound for wound, bruise for bruise."
KJV Version
"If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shal be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burning for buning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe."
