I missed church today because of my leg(Cellulitis) and to me I felt a void within me. I missed the union and bonding I have with fellow worshipers in the congregation and the building up of one another. Does this happen to you when you miss church? Do you feel a void within you? Just wanted to get some thoughts on this.

Yes I know exactly what you mean. I feel the same way when I miss. The rest of my week feels "off".

Yes, my husband and I feel that way, too. We enjoy services at our church.

I feel that way too, noland, when I have to miss a service. I need this fellowship and spiritual nourishment.. it feels like it recharges me for the week! Of course I can't go all week on this charge, I need to recharge daily, but Sunday gatherings of fellow believers give an extra boost.

Absolutely....I definitely feel a void when I miss our assembly. The past 3 months the men decided to change our monthly singing to right after our monthly potluck, which follows the morning service. Then we do not have an evening service that day. It seems wierd, and makes our evening sooo long !

I miss going to church and plan to find one when I get to Florida. There seems to be so many churches in FL and here in WA they seem to be far and few between.
