This is totally against God's nature, He gets all the glory no one else. So if it's God's nature to get all the glory, why would He go against His own nature by allowing us to do works to get into heaven? Isn't that a contradiction?
Our understanding and love for God will certainly make a difference in our eternal inheritence.

Mat 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach [them], the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Neil Turan is on a distinguished road
The Baptis, through the Disciples before the Death of the Messiah:

In the Bible it says: The Pharisees learn that Jesus is baptizing more people than John the Baptist, although it says that "...in fact it was not Jesus who baptized, but his disciples." Jesus learns this, leaves Judea, and returns to Galilee (John 4:2)

But this Baptism was also to prepare the Jews for the coming of the Messiah. Saint John Chrysostom says that it is preciese the same like the baptism through John the Baptist

Making the Sacrament

Our Lord Jesus Christ himself established this sacrament, after he was Risen when he said: Matthew 28:

18Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

The seenable signs

De seenable signs are: three times under the water and the words as said by the priests: I baptize you in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit

There is Baptized with water for the folowwing reason:

1. Our Lord Jesus Christ was baptized in the water (Matthew 3)
2. Our Lord Jesus Christ say 3In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.[a]" (John 3)
3. The Apostles and the Early Church baptized with water: Then Peter said, 47"Can anyone keep these people from being baptized with water? They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have."
and 38And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him. 39
4. The water is used since the very first beginning of the church
5. Water cleanses the body and the baptism cleanses the soul

You are assuming that I believe in the "sinner's prayer" I can't stand the sinner's prayer.

I agree, there are different degrees of judgement. The OP states that only certain churches are going to heaven and certain churches are going to hell. That is stating that the OP knows and decides who is going to heaven or hell, which only God can do.

I personally believe that people take the judgement verses out of context quite often, but in the way that I was using it, I was using it correctly.

So the seven sacraments are all varying degrees of baptism? Because still, the only one you have confirmed is baptism! Thus, where is the proof that 7 sacraments are needed?

God's grace. We are saved by God's grace thru faith, the gift of "faith" given to us by God.

Faith is like calling 9-1-1 and the ambulance is God. Did calling 9-1-1 save your life or was it the ambulance that arrived?
