Have you dealt with these sins?
Friends;
This is from a prayer book that someone gave me; and at the time I thought as a believer in Christ Jesus;
I had all sins grounds covered and and I hadn't even tipped the iceberg; (Repentant)
I had been deceived like eve.
looking over this list can you honestly say that you have come clean with the Lord, should you die now?
what would you do to eliminate this list in your life?
What advice would you give to someone that had at least 1 sin on this list?
God Bless You

Is this why the gate is narrow that lead to life and the gate is broad that lead to death?
Which gate are you going through?
Have you been forgiven of these sins? .............. up to date?
Right now?

I would agree with that. Some things listed such as anxiety & apprehension are not necessarily sins so to speak as they are traits that are common to imperfect people. 'Fear of man' is another common trait of imperfect and sinful mankind, but hardly a mark of a wicked sinful act.
I would call them normal weaknesses to imperfect humans that Satan will exploit and use against us .

Interesting. The bible shows that Jesus experienced those very things and even cried when his friend Lazarus died. Guess what? He went to Hell.
Don't worry June, everyone goes to Hell when they die. The Bible Hell (Hebrew word "sheol" & greek word "hades") are only referenced as the common grave of mankind. The History Channel a few years back had a special on it when the commercials leading up to the show asked the question, "Do You Believe In Hell ?, you may be surprised to hear what the bible actually says."
I'll try and find the link to that show. Very educational.
The only flames are those that come from people down here.

--And you all strive to be good Christians because...?
June is not overly concerned in the moment whether she is joining you all in hell or not. Her concerns are more urgently immediate. However, she is utterly confounded by the fact that given how self defeating life can feel at times, why anyone would therefore consciously make a "decision" to buy into that which (according to the above) automatically sets one up for failure...
Take gentle perservering care.

I'd have to agree with what Alpha said, not all those things on that list are sinful in every circumstance. Take for example, and I'll jot down just a few...
Anger - Even Jesus got angry at the temple. But there is a difference between righteous anger and unrighteous anger, the key is knowing the difference.
Apprehension - Sometimes an apprehension is nothing more than feeling a warning within ourselves, possibly even from God, that something we are about to do or enter into we should not.
Causing disagreements - Is this not in essence what we may do when we enter into say a discussion with an Atheist, or when we minister to someone regarding a sin in their lives? Could not a disagreement occur? While not our intention.
Confrontation - As a parent for example, don't we have to confront our children and point out when they are straying from the path that they should be on. Do we not confront sin, calling it for what it is.
Suspicion - The bible tells us to test all spirits, so when someone comes to us with some sort of revelation, and it does not immediately sit within our spirit, do we not become suspicious as to whether it is from God or not and seek confirmation of such.
Self-criticalness - Would the opposite of this not be a sin, to think we are perfect. However, when we are able to rightly critique our own lives, we see where we fall short and where we need God to step in most to help us overcome something.
Skepticism - Should we not be skeptical of anything that would appear to go against the word of God. Skepticism in fact can prevent and protect us from accepting a false doctrine or belief.
Struggling - Don't we all struggle with things. Isn't our struggle with sins, that we take to the Lord, the very means by which we can find our deliverence from such.
Walking with sinners - Well if we believe that we are all sinners and all fall short of the glory of God then we should walk this earth alone. My husband is a Christian, he is saved, he loves the Lord, however, he is a sinner just as I am, should I not walk with him.
Uncompromising - This one I really didn't get. I mean, we are to be uncompromising with sin. We are not to compromise our values and beliefs, what we know to be truth and God's ways. So how can being uncompromising be a sin in and of itself.
Now... just as I have given these examples, yes I do believe that there is the possibility that these are all tools that the enemy can use against us and we thereby have these within us in a sinful manner. However, that they are sin in and of themselves, no. I don't believe that.
However, one thing that did come to my mind reading over that list is... I am sure glad that I have Jesus and that through Him I find the forgiveness for my sins. That is one long list and so many things on that list are things we can all list as having at one point or another. Thank God for the blood of Jesus that washes our sins away.

yhwhsh, I'm sure their are even more sins you could add to that list (even tho I didn't read it over completely).
But I'm sure glad I don't have to worry about it, since we are no longer under the Old Law and are living in the time prophecied in the Old Testament when we can have God's Word written in our heart and be His child.

Good grief! That was a heck of a list, Yhwhshalomjr! Wouldn't it be a lot easier to just narrow it down to what Jesus said?
Matthew 22:37-40: Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."
Perhaps I'm wrong, (wouldn't be the first time ), but it seems to me that if we would keep these two in the forefront of our brains, we pretty much wouldn't have to worry about that long list; it would take care of itself.
