I was reading some of these Messianic prophecies of the Old Testament today, and was inspired by them, so I'm sharing them here with you.
What a mighty God we serve, who sent His Son to die for our salvation, and made a way that we can be a part of His Kingdom!

Zec 9:9 ¶ Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.
Zec 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
Mal 3:1 ¶ Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.
It just builds our faith to see how God showed his people what would come, in great detail and then it happened. What a wonderful way to build His people's faith in Him. God's word is so amazing. I was at a Bible study tonight and we were talking how a child can read the Bible and someone with many degrees and still cannot learn all there is to know. God's word is alive!!!

I do find that totally amazing and what I find more amazing is how a grown adult, who has the head knowledge of God but fails to have the heart relationship with God, can actually come to TRULY know God as a result of a child.
I know this is true because it is how I came to the Lord. It took going through a very difficult time in my life and knowing that this little 6 year old boy, a schoolmate of my son, was praying for me and my family. When we heard this, what came to mind was "how can a little 6 year old have so much faith, yet we can not". Later that evening, the little 6 year old boy and his parents came to our house and after reading a couple of scriptures, hearing the Gospel presented to us, we all, including my own children, accepted the Lord into our lives.
That was 12+ years ago. In those 12+ years my faith has grown, my relationship with God has grown, it continues to grow, and one can say that part of the start of that was a little child. Amazing.
