Saw the previews and wanted to cry. I LOVE movies that make me cry! It shows that the writer was a very sensitive person. Anyway, the details are going to be on Dr Phil tonight at 9pm EST channel 4. Dr Phil is going to interview Kirk Cameron, the star. It opens tomorrow! (Friday Sept 26) So be sure to go.

I've been hearing about it on the radio for a few weeks. I'll have to look it up as I have never heard what it is about.

Yes, can't wait to see it. I never go to the movies, but I think this one is worth breaking the piggy bank to go and see.

This makes me happy! I've never understood why more Christians don't object (at least not vocally) to Christian actors kissing actors/actresses they're not married to on TV and in movies. It's still wrong even if it's "just acting."

I saw it.

It started slow and the acting was bad at first.

Then I really got into the storyline.

The only objection I have is to the horrible stereotypes of black women that I found to be over the top. It was too much and too obvious all that "hmm mmm girlfriend" and neck rolling.

Other than that it was a wonderful story and I hope it inspires many.

I want to go see it. I just watched the previews. My husband and I are really struggling right now. I walked out of church this morning in tears. I overheard him telling someone he was going to help him with something but he was going to have shoulder surgery on Nov. 6th. I said "what?" He had never mentioned it to me and I was so hurt. We talked with a friend for two hours but there is just no love or caring for me or my feelings. This movie may speak to me.....

I'm sorry to hear that, driftwood. My marriage isn't so great either. Unfortunately for me, my husband would rather spend his time with his computer games than with me or the kids. Nothing I've been able to say or do has been able to change that.

Content_Christian, don't you wonder why Christian marriage aren't any better? Sort of sad and not a good witness to the world. My husband retired a few years ago and now has three part time jobs and works about 60 hours a week. He is never home and when he is he is watching TV. I've found you can only change yourself.
Sounds like this movie may be something for us to go see. God works in His own way and timing.
My best to you...
